Lucy Ann Draper arrived Saturday, May 24th at 9:06 am. She weighed 9 lb. 14 oz., and measured 21 1/2 inches long. She has been, at least these first two days, an amazingly good little baby. She doesn't cry, mostly because all her time is taken up eating and sleeping.
Here she is with Isaac. He is quite taken with her, and very proud to be her "big brudder." He is looking forward to teaching her how to play video games, helping her burp, and marrying her someday.
Ruthie is a wonderful big sister. She will sit and hold Lucy as long as she is allowed to. She is very patient and unruffled when Lucy squirms around an / or tries to eat her arms.
Meredith is pretty sure that she will be able to change Lucy's diapers by herself any day now. I'm impressed that she wants to. We'll see how long the novelty lasts. But Merry is a great big sister again, and enjoys talking to Lucy and watching her funny facial expressions.
Mom and Dad are doing well, although quite sleepy. It's been a long weekend. We'll add more later, but I wanted to get a few pictures up before going to bed. Good night!
